Toshishita Cherry Boy-kun ni Honro Saretemasu Blu-ray Box

A flirtatious older woman meets a younger man with absolutely no romantic experience in a warm, sweet romantic comedy designed to make hearts flutter across generations. The popular webtoon, first released on LINE Manga in November 2024, successively topped its overall, romance and new-release rankings before receiving this live-action adaptation.

Kasumi Mori and Haru Kashiwagi share the lead roles. Mori plays Karen Imai, a strikingly beautiful, sexually independent woman who has always kept men wrapped around her finger. Known for her work as a freelance announcer and television personality, including hosting Kasumi Mori no Zenbu Uso TV, she has also established herself as an actress through leading roles in Shiori-chan, Kokoro no Koe wo Kikasete yo and Otona no Jugyo. Kashiwagi, a member of the main-dancer and backing-vocal group Bullet Train, plays Teito Domae, a graduate student at a marine university who has never had a girlfriend. His acting credits include I Cannot Reach You, Billion × School and Eye See: Shunkan Kioku Sosa Hiiragi-han. Karen’s succession of calculated charms and Teito’s endearing ability to turn the tables on an older woman are central to their chemistry.

Karen has a thriving career in public relations for a cosmetics company and a fulfilling private life. Yet past trauma keeps her from opening herself to genuine love, and she tells herself that taking romance seriously is a waste of time. At a drinks gathering with friends, she meets Teito, an unassuming man in glasses. When none of her usual flirting techniques seems to affect him, her competitive streak takes over. She tries everything to win him over, only to get no response.

After that day, a succession of chance encounters gradually reveals more of Teito’s character. Faced with his sincere insistence that she should value herself, Karen begins to feel something she never expected. She intended to keep him off balance—so why is she the one being swept off her feet? A heroine who could not love wholeheartedly because of old wounds finds herself disarmed by a younger man with no romantic experience.
