Toshiyuki Toyonaga celebrates ten years as a solo artist with Charactanswer, a concept album of answer songs addressed to characters he has played. His musical journey began with an acoustic solo concert in Daikanyama on September 29, 2013; here he returns to seven works from his acting career through songs he both wrote and composed.
The nine-track CD frames those seven character-inspired songs with an introduction and the title track. Yuri Katsuki, Haiji Kiyose, Asahi Shiina, Sora Ohara, Homare Arisugawa, Goshi Kaneshiro and Popp each provide a different point of departure for this personal anniversary album.
