In nineteenth-century China, Liu Mao Xing, the youngest chef ever to earn the Special Grade title, travels through the southwest with Shirou and Meili to broaden his culinary knowledge. Returning to Yang Quan Restaurant in Guangzhou, Mao gains new companions Shell and Leon and resolves to confront the Dark Cooking Society, whose ambition is to control people through food.

He then learns the secret of the eight legendary cooking utensils that safeguard the Chinese culinary world. To protect these scattered treasures from the Dark Cooking Society, Mao sets out on a vast journey with his four companions.

This second-season box contains episodes 13–24 across two Blu-ray discs, plus a third disc with the complete drawing movie by the original manga creator and the opening and ending without credits. Enclosed extras include a newly illustrated jacket and six reproduced illustration cards, available only while supplies last and not guaranteed.
