Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era Standard Edition Blu-ray follows Jungle Pocket's determination to become the strongest runner. Known as Pokke, she has made her name in free-spirited freestyle races, but watching Fujikiseki compete in the Twinkle Series changes the direction of her ambitions. Inspired by that performance, she decides to enter the same competitive world herself.

At Tracen Academy, Pokke trains under Tanabe, the trainer who previously guided Fujikiseki. Her goal is the Classic Triple Crown, a challenge each runner can attempt only once. The rivals waiting for her are formidable: hardworking Dantsu Flame, Manhattan Cafe pursuing a friend only she can see, and Agnes Tachyon, whose scientific curiosity drives her to explore the limits of an Uma Musume's potential. Their competing hopes, pride and resolve turn the race for victory into a defining confrontation for a new generation.

Directed by Ken Yamamoto and animated by CygamesPictures, the franchise's first theatrical film features Yuri Fujimoto as Jungle Pocket, Haruna Fukushima as Dantsu Flame, Yui Ogura as Manhattan Cafe and Sumire Uesaka as Agnes Tachyon. The standard edition contains the 108-minute feature and a collection of teasers, trailers and television spots in an Amaray case illustrated with the film's key visual.

A cast commentary accompanies the film, with Fujimoto and Fukushima joined by Ogura for the first half and Uesaka for the second. The region-free disc offers Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround, Linear PCM 2.0 stereo and a separate Japanese audio-description track in Linear PCM. Japanese subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers are included.
