Unicorn Concerts

The live tour built around two albums becomes a film celebration of Unicorn’s “100th anniversary”. In 2019, the band released two original albums and a single under that banner and embarked on a nationwide tour of fifty performances over approximately nine months. Their extraordinary burst of activity is brought together in this video release looking back on the entire “100th anniversary year”.

Throughout the tour, the members concentrated their energy into tightly paced stages shaped around the anniversary theme. This release presents the complete Nippon Budokan performance of July 4, 2019, which closed the first half of the tour, and the Osaka Festival Hall performance of December 17, 2019, the tour’s final day.

The Unicorn 100th Anniversary documentary follows the members closely as they race through that eventful anniversary year. Its footage continues to follow them through the tour venues, including the Yamagata Prefectural Hall performance, and into the recording studios, bringing together another side of the year alongside the concert performances.
