Based on the comic serialised in Nico Nico Manga’s Dra Dra Sharp #, Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! attracted attention as soon as its serialisation began. Its distinctive characters, led by an incredibly cute but endlessly meddlesome university junior, have made it a runaway romantic-comedy success, with more than 2.5 million copies of the manga in circulation at the time of this release. The second anime season began in October 2022, bringing Hana’s mischievous charm back in full force.

The new season strengthens the lively animation and adds more members of the Uzaki family to its already colourful everyday comedy.

Third-year university student Shinichi Sakurai spent a summer holiday that was never boring, even as his junior Hana Uzaki kept dragging him into her plans. But Hana still has not had enough fun! With a campus festival in autumn and Christmas in winter, there are plenty more events ahead. This time, her entertaining family joins in too, making life livelier than ever.

Sometimes watched over, sometimes teased, sometimes given a push forward, the two begin to notice small changes in their everyday relationship as “just a senior and his junior.” Their youthful romantic comedy starts again, with Hana’s annoying charm and adorable energy doubled.
