VALSHE builds a fantasy adventure on SAGAS, linking seven themed songs into one story against Middle Eastern and Arabian-inspired imagery. A palindromic narrative device lets the album feel different depending on which song begins the journey.
VALSHE and sound producer Shun Sato collaborate on the central composition, combining Arabian atmosphere with danceable rhythms and a weighty sound. Longtime collaborator doriko contributes music, while Shinya Saito, arranger of Butterfly Core, writes an original song for VALSHE for the first time. Akihito Tokunaga of doa also joins as an arranger following their 2021 collaboration.
KARASQADAR opens the sequence, followed by MORAL LICENCING, John Doe and Ash. +one step, Gairoju and calm complete the seven-part narrative, with Shock the World added as the eighth track on the QAMAR edition.
