The heroine finds herself reborn as Yumiella, the villainess of the otome game Hikayu. In fact, Yumiella is the hidden boss who appears after the Demon Lord is defeated, a being so powerful that she can only be beaten after the player reaches the maximum level.

She refuses to exist merely to be defeated. Determined not to interfere with the game’s story, she resolves to live inconspicuously. But her gamer’s spirit catches fire, and before she realises it she has raised her own level to ninety-nine.
