Virgin Punk: Clockwork Girl Regular Edition Blu-ray

In 2099, artificial-body technology called Somadea has made it possible to overcome virtually any injury or illness. It has also created a new kind of crime. Bodies with abilities far beyond those of an ordinary human can be illegally modified and exploited, leaving the authorities struggling to contain the consequences. The government responds by licensing civilian bounty hunters to eliminate wanted Somadea criminals and claim payment by delivering their targets' brains to the police, whether the targets are alive or dead.

Ubu Kamigori earns her living hunting those criminals. One day, she returns home to find Mr. Elegance, a man bound to her troubled past, waiting for her. His arrival throws her life off course and draws her into a web of desire, manipulation and violence.

Clockwork Girl begins Yasuomi Umetsu's original Virgin Punk animation project, created with SHAFT. Umetsu handles direction and character design, while Yuya Takahashi writes the screenplay. Saki Miyashita voices Ubu, alongside Katsuyuki Konishi as Mr. Elegance, Taku Yashiro as Louis Gaudi, Rui Tanabe as Maggie, Norio Wakamoto as Tommy J, Fuka Izumi as Noa Andriette and Sumire Uesaka as Vespa. This regular-edition Blu-ray contains the approximately 35-minute film with Japanese Linear PCM audio and no subtitles.
