Virtua Fighter 3tb Online Premium Music Collection captures the return of a new era to the fighting stage. SEGA's arcade release brought Virtua Fighter 3tb back after 26 years, preserving the balance of the 1997 MODEL3 game while adding online play based on technology developed for Virtua Fighter esports through the ALL.Net P-ras MULTI Version 3 system.

Disc 1 contains thirty background tracks newly recorded from original MODEL3 hardware by sound director Kazuki Takagi. Disc 2 includes twenty VF3 arrangement tracks from the PlayStation 4 Virtua Fighter esports DLC, two new Virtua Fighter 3tb Online pieces, two rare 1996 promotional-video tracks and three unused arcade tracks.

Takenobu Mitsuyoshi's new vocal arrangement of Jacky's theme, Don't Think, Feel, forms a highlight of the album, with its karaoke version also included. Altogether, the two discs contain 59 tracks devoted to VF3.

The booklet features comments from director Hidehito Sakuma and sound creators Fumio Ito and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi. Kazuki Takagi and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi supervised the mastering throughout. Some tracks retain distinctive noise originating in their historical recording conditions.
