After her solo debut following a decade of captivating listeners with Kalafina, Wakana begins the next stage of her solo project with her first EP. Aki no Sakura is an autumn cherry-blossom song: a love that began amid the blossoms of spring is remembered alone as autumn leaves fall.
The record moves from the dreamlike overture eve to the driving Koi wa Itsumo and Orange’s approachable melody. Yuyake captures a new challenge, recorded in a single take with acoustic guitar.
