Bonds formed by chance weave a love that lasts forever. Wakidenai Eirenuta continues the story of a young woman and men known as practitioners, who possess mysterious powers. Two men direct their feelings towards the heroine, sparking a rivalry filled with jealousy, possessiveness, friendship, bonds and love. Where will her heart lead when faced with these two affections? Set in the Edo period, this gently mysterious, heartwarming romance can also be enjoyed by newcomers to the series. A moment that comes only once in a hundred years intertwines two hearts.

Miyabi possesses heavenly sight, the ability to see the past and future of everything before his eyes. Kannagi wields both divine arts, which bring happiness, and curses, which bring misfortune. They are companions living in the same village of Kokun, yet both love the same young woman. Miyabi pursues his feelings openly, while Kannagi conceals his own and insists on watching over her only as a guardian. Miyabi tells him to compete fairly if he loves her, but Kannagi stubbornly refuses to change his attitude. Before long, Miyabi's frustration with him begins to turn into anger.
