Welcome Home Shibuya-kun Blu-ray BOX

Taiga Kyomoto stars in a fresh, innocent romantic comedy about two people brought together by nursery-school pickups. Taikai Shibuya is a young actor at the height of his popularity. Yet his overprotectiveness toward his much younger sister Oto may be the reason he has no romantic experience at all. His manager Kyoko Shinagawa tells him to feel his heart flutter for someone, anyone, to bring realism to his performances.

When Oto begins attending a new nursery school, Shibuya meets her teacher Aika Aota. With six years of childcare experience, Aika is such a peacekeeper that she worries too much about others and takes on more work than anyone else, sacrificing her own needs. While completing work she has brought home, she hears a familiar voice on television and looks up. It is Shibuya, and she realizes for the first time that he is a celebrity.

A few days later, Aika is to perform a puppet show for the children and parents on an observation day. She has prepared everything alone, but an unexpected incident interrupts the performance. Shibuya notices something is wrong. The cast includes Taiga Kyomoto, Momoko Tanabe, Shuichiro Naito, Kaito Miyachika and Kyoko Hasegawa, with Mei Morobayashi as Oto.

The box contains all 12 episodes and 120 minutes of specially produced bonus material. Extras include comprehensive behind-the-scenes footage, a roundtable with Taiga Kyomoto, Momoko Tanabe and Kaito Miyachika, the Surprise Visit to Osaki-kun segment with Kyomoto and Miyachika, and an unreleased special talk featuring Kyomoto, Tanabe, Naito, Miyachika and Hasegawa. A special booklet is enclosed.
