とりぱん（１）
Wide KC Toripan Vol. 1 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Nanko Torino, published by Kodansha under the Wide KC label.
From wild birds, vegetable gardening, cats, and local dialect to wanko soba, praying mantises, sunsets, and gas tanks, every part of everyday life becomes material for this account of wildlife on a human scale in a northern Tohoku commuter town! An account of wildlife on a human scale, drawn from everyday experience. The author, a single woman in her thirties living in a commuter town somewhere in Tohoku, draws on wild birds, cats, seasonal sights, dialect, local cooking, and everything else in her everyday life to depict wildlife on a human scale. Morning's popular series, which gently shakes up the reader's view of nature, is finally collected in book form! Judges Kaiji Kawaguchi and Kei Sadayasu both praised it to the skies. The complete grand-prize-winning entry from the 17th MANGA OPEN competition is also included.
This Japanese paper edition contains 132 pages and was released in Japan on March 21, 2006.
