With You, Our Love Will Make It Through Animation

Honest feelings reach across the barriers between two worlds. Chihiro Yuzuki’s popular manga, with more than 1.5 million print and digital copies in circulation and 62 million page views as of October 2025, comes to television in this romantic anime adaptation.

In the year 20XX, a small number of beastfolk live within human society. High-school student Mari’s class welcomes Tsunagu, a beastfolk student admitted under a special arrangement. Initially unsure how to approach him, Mari gradually falls for his gentle, sincere nature as they spend time together. Tsunagu is drawn to her sweet scent, but also to her beauty and inner strength.

In their world, beastfolk remain separated beyond a wall, and even a friendship between a human and a beastfolk attracts curious stares. Romance seems more difficult still. Can Mari and Tsunagu’s feelings overcome the divisions between their species?

This second volume contains episodes 7–12, with a newly illustrated anime jacket and a special booklet. Bonus material includes creditless opening and ending sequences, promotional videos and a visual commentary featuring Manaka Iwami, Takuya Eguchi and Koutaro Nishiyama. The commentary presents the complete retrospective talk previously released online.
