Wonderful Precure! Animation

Everyone gets along—wonderful! Built around the theme “Animals and people can all become friends,” Wonderful Precure! celebrates the precious bond between humans and animals. In its twenty-first year, the Precure series takes on fresh challenges, from its first title written in hiragana to a pet dog transforming into a Precure.

Since Futari wa Precure began in 2004 as a television anime for children, the series has continued to offer young viewers inspiring older-sister figures: kind-hearted people who treasure their friends, act warmly for someone else’s sake and refuse to give up on their dreams. In this story, Komugi, the heroine’s pet dog, takes human form and can speak to her owner Iroha in human language. As they share their feelings, the bond between them grows even stronger.

Caring about someone important and acting for them is what matters. Whether human or animal, the relationships of family and best friends remain the same. The power of feelings, carried through Precure’s history, can reach another heart even when appearances differ or words cannot be understood. Through its bond with animals, Wonderful Precure! carefully brings that spirit of compassion to life.

In Animal Town, where people and animals live together, animal-loving Iroha is close to her pet dog Komugi. One day, a mysterious creature called a Garugaru runs wild through town. To protect Iroha, Komugi takes human form and transforms into a Precure! The friends must help creatures whose hearts have become troubled, joining forces to return the animals to Niko Garden. “It’s all right—let me hear your voice!”

This fourth volume brings together episodes thirty-seven through fifty. Extras include a collection of transformation and action scenes and a materials gallery. The release features picture-label discs and a newly illustrated jacket by character designer Yoko Uchida.
