Yakushimaru Etsuko Metro Orchestra's Boku no Sonzai Shomei brings the theme and insert song of RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM to a deluxe, high-quality vinyl edition.

An artist and producer behind Soutaiseiriron and numerous other projects, Yakushimaru possesses a singular voice rich in natural overtones. Her recent work has been exhibited and acquired by museums around the world, and her talent across music and art has earned recognition in many fields.

Boku no Sonzai Shomei includes both the theme and insert song for the theatrical Penguindrum production, continuing her involvement with the internationally loved series from its television beginnings. The work has moved many listeners; critic Masato Matsumura, who has followed Yakushimaru and Soutaiseiriron from the outset, praised its "dazzling grace".

First unveiled in April 2022, the release now receives a deluxe vinyl treatment reflecting Yakushimaru's exacting attention to sound. The heavyweight 12-inch record plays at 45 rpm. A fully reversible sleeve carries her drawings and gold-foil detailing.
