Tenkaichi: The Greatest Warrior Under the Rising Sun

Yanmaga KC Special Tenkaichi: The Greatest Warrior Under the Rising Sun Vol. 1 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Kyoutarou Azuma, Yosuke Nakamaru, published by Kodansha under the Yanmaga KC Special label.

Who is the greatest martial artist in Japan? This is not history as we know it. The year is 1600, and ten years have passed since Oda Nobunaga unified the country. Realizing that his death is near, Nobunaga announces that he will give the country to whoever puts forward the strongest martial artist. The warlords whose dreams of unifying Japan were shattered each nominate their greatest warrior and set their sights on becoming the ruler of the country! The first match pits Honda Tadakatsu, the "Peerless Spear," backed by Tokugawa Ieyasu, against Miyamoto Musashi, the "Evolving Prodigy," backed by Chosokabe Motochika! The historical clash of different martial arts that everyone has dreamed of begins at last!

This Japanese paper edition contains 192 pages and was released in Japan on June 18, 2021.
