Yano-kun's Ordinary Days Animation

A pure-hearted romantic comedy about an anxious girl and a boy who is always covered in injuries. The anime adapts Yui Tamura’s manga, serialised in Kodansha’s Comic DAYS since June 2021, following the everyday lives of the extraordinarily unlucky Yano and Yoshida, the class representative who cannot stop worrying about him. FANTASTICS performs the opening theme, “POP LIFE,” while iScream performs the ending theme, “Better Off.”

Yoshida worries a little more than most people, and she cannot help being concerned about Yano, who sits beside her. His extraordinary bad luck brings him to school with fresh injuries every day. As she tends to his wounds, special feelings begin to grow within her. Surrounded by their distinctive friends, the two gradually draw closer. Where will Yoshida’s feelings lead? And will Yano ever enjoy an ordinary high-school life? Their gentle romance is about to begin.

Volume two contains episodes five through eight. The case features a new illustration by manga creator Yui Tamura. The special booklet contains another newly drawn illustration and a three-way interview with Tamura, Taito Ban, who voices Hashiba, and Rie Takahashi, who voices Izumi. Three illustration cards are also included.

The episode five commentary, “Study Session,” brings together Kohei Amasaki, who voices Tsuyoshi Yano, and Yuka Nukui, who voices Kiyoko Yoshida. The bonus music video features Amika, voiced by Yukari Tamura, performing “Zenryoku★Kirameke Hatsukoi.”
