Formed in 2013 in Neyagawa, Osaka, yonige returns to a major label with this release, featuring Mebuku Toki, written as the opening theme for the spring 2026 television anime Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk.
The song pairs yonige’s characteristic rough-edged guitar and bass textures with the warmth and freshness of spring. Its words express the desire for a tomorrow shared with someone and the need to communicate those feelings. Vocalist Ushimaru offers an affirming message about accepting both oneself and the other person as they are, and finding value in simply being together.
