You and Idol Precure Animation

Sing, dance and share the excitement with the fans! Together with you, every day can sparkle. Because you are here, these heroines can shine brighter and become stronger: a new idol-and-Precure stage is about to begin.

For its twenty-second year, Precure introduces its first idol theme. Combining two dreams that children look up to, idols and Precure, the series celebrates the glamour and excitement of performing while sending its heroines into battles full of song, dance and their own distinctive ways of connecting with their audience.

“Because you are here, we can shine!” The presence of someone who cheers them on becomes the Precures’ strength. Their songs, dances and interactions with fans do more than entertain: they can brighten another person’s heart. The audience’s encouragement, in turn, helps the heroines shine even more. Their bonds with their friends and supporters give them the courage to face a crisis. Join the cheering with the Kiraki Light and share in their dazzling performances.

Experienced creators from the Precure music team bring the songs and dances to life. Alongside the heroine voices of Misato Matsuoka, Minami Takahashi, Natsumi Takamori, Yoshino Nanjo and Miharu Hanai, Snow Man’s Daisuke Sakuma plays the legendary idol Kaito Hibiki.

“I’m Uta Sakura, a second-year middle-school student who loves singing!” One day, while walking her dog Kyu-chan, Uta spots something like an enormous peach floating down the river. Inside is Purirun, an adorable fairy whose words are full of “puri.” Purirun is searching for the legendary saviours known as the Idol Precure.

Purirun’s homeland, Kiraki Land, was once peaceful and sparkling. But Darkiine, the leader of the Chokkiri Gang, has plunged it into darkness. Uta decides to help find the Idol Precure who can bring light back. Surely those legendary saviours must be cheerful, dazzling and full of smiles — everything she calls “Kirakkiranran!”

Then the Chokkiri Gang appears in Hanamichi Town and begins stealing the sparkle from its people. As the town faces disaster, Uta resolves to bring everyone’s Kirakkiranran back with her singing. A Precure Ribbon and an Idol Heart Brooch appear before her, and she transforms into Cure Idol, one of the legendary saviours. With singing, dancing and heartfelt connections with the fans, their sparkling stage begins!

Volume four brings together episodes thirty-seven through forty-nine. The jacket features a new illustration by character designer Miho Sugimoto, and the discs have picture labels. Bonus videos collect the transformation and action scenes, alongside a gallery of production and design materials.
