The Ascendance of a Bookworm volume gathers color illustrations from the novels, beginning with Part 1: Daughter of a Soldier and extending through Part 5: Avatar of a Goddess, alongside artwork for junior editions, drama CDs, anime projects and previously issued supplementary illustrations.

The companion volume covers work created since the 2012 Garnet collection, including fiction such as Sakurada Reset, illustrations for younger readers, original manga and game artwork. Both books have new cover illustrations and a closing section of the artist's commentary. Published by TO Books, this Japanese-language set contains 330 pages in total.
