You Were Experienced I Was Not Animation

A pure, realistic coming-of-age love story filled with butterflies begins. The popular Fantasia Bunko light novel becomes a television anime, pairing an inexperienced introvert with a gyaru who knows far more about dating.

Ryuto Kashima is an unremarkable, introverted boy. Unsurprisingly, he has never had a girlfriend in all his sixteen years. The person he admires is Runa Shirakawa, the most beautiful gyaru in his year, with plenty of romantic experience.

He thought watching her from a distance would be enough—but somehow, they end up dating! An awkward boy with no experience and an outgoing girl with a very different past find themselves in a relationship.

They live in worlds that could hardly be farther apart. Their uneven yet pure, believable romance is full of heart-racing moments.

The light novel is published by Kadokawa’s Fantasia Bunko imprint, with a manga adaptation serialised on Square Enix’s Gangan Online. The story also introduces Maria Kurose, an elegant new transfer student who was Ryuto’s classmate in his first year of junior high school.

The original first-production edition was announced with an illustrated outer case, an illustrated digipak and a special booklet featuring a newly written short story, setting materials and interviews. These limited extras are subject to availability and are not guaranteed with the current copy.

Extras include audio commentaries and textless opening and ending sequences.
