The Fable

Young Magazine KC Special The Fable: The Second Contact Vol. 3 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Katsuhisa Minami, published by Kodansha under the Young Magazine KC Special label.

Akira has retired from killing, and Yoko, Azami and Yuukari are each pursuing their own idea of an ordinary life as members of Team Fable. Working as a rent-an-older-man and living his married life with Misaki, Akira begins to feel what it means to live each day. Meanwhile, after reuniting with the president of Octopus, something begins to grow in Yoko's heart. But the long-balanced struggle for power between the Maguro and Kujira groups starts smoldering again, filling the town with tension. By coincidence, Yoko helps Kuro of the Maguro group during a dispute with young members of the Kujira group. Akira also becomes unintentionally involved after coincidentally rescuing one of his rent-an-older-man clients from trouble with the Kujira group. Ebihara, boss of the Maguro group, tells them to remain strictly uninvolved. But Matsudai, boss of the Kujira group, has learned that the Maguro group's ties with Fable have been severed, and has summoned a trump card that could upset the balance. Its name is Rumor!
