Yupsilon brings together the roles of singer, Vocaloid producer and virtual performer on Gattaca, a first mini album. A voice that seems to move between boyish and girlish qualities gives the singer-songwriter an elusive character.
Debut single ZERO captures the moment of taking a first step back to zero while living within society's conventions. The fast-moving Cinderella voices a protagonist's conflict with restrictions on curfews and even standards of beauty. Three further self-written compositions, Paradox, Saidan and Ubiquitous, join them, with instrumental versions of all five songs completing the CD.
Yupsilon also performs in the four-member mixed-gender VTuber vocal group SODA KIT, which began by revealing only its members' voices ahead of its formal launch.
