Yusuke Hirose returns with refresH in the year marking ten years since his CD debut. His acting has also earned recognition through an Outstanding Actor award at the thirtieth Yomiuri Theater Awards, while this album continues his work as a singer about three and a half years after cherisH.
Members of his familiar H band take part in writing the songs, placing live performance at the center of the sound. Carlos K., a childhood friend from Hirose's hometown whose work has received Japan Record Award recognition, also contributes music.
