Zeicho Haraenai ni wa Wake ga Aru Blu-ray BOX

Protagonist Soichiro Aiba and his partner Hanako Domeki work as tax-collection officials. They are city-hall taxation-department employees who assess the financial circumstances of people in arrears, visit their homes and arrange payment of overdue taxes. Sometimes they seize property and urge residents to pay. In other words, they are tax collectors.

But their real duty is more than simply demanding taxes. Citizens have reasons they cannot pay and have had no choice but to fall behind. We are not your enemies. We want to be on your side. The officials stand beside residents and search for ways to help them.

Thrills, tears and laughter accompany these tax collectors as they care for both the money and hearts of people in arrears. A human entertainment drama that shakes the soul.
