Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Anime

The curtain rises on a youth romantic comedy about getting close, with a girl who is impossible to measure in all sorts of ways. Based on Asato Mizu's manga serialized on Jump+, this is a youth comedy about small, quiet Reina Aharen and Raido, the boy who sits beside her.

Reina Aharen is a petite, quiet girl who finds it a little difficult to judge the distance between herself and other people. Raido, sitting next to her, feels that there is a gap between them. One day, he picks up an eraser she has dropped, and the distance between them suddenly shrinks.

Sometimes too far away and sometimes too close, Aharen is unpredictable. The curtain rises on this youth romantic comedy about getting close, with a girl who is impossible to measure in all sorts of ways. This volume contains episodes five through eight.

The cast features Inori Minase as Reina Aharen, Takuma Terashima as Raido, M.A.O as Mitsuki Oshiro, Tetsuya Kakihara as Ishikawa, Tomori Kusunoki as Hanako Sato, Kana Hanazawa as teacher Momohara, Rika Nagae as Raido's younger sister, Yurie Kozakai as teacher Miyahira, Maria Sashide as Futaba, Natsumi Fujiwara as Atsushi and Misaki Kuno as Ren Aharen.

The jacket features a new illustration by character designer and chief animation director Hiroko Yahiro. Enclosed is an Aharen photo-booth-style sticker. Video extras comprise the creditless opening and the first promotional video, totaling approximately three minutes. The original edition also includes a QR code for a roughly ten-minute Reina Aharen ASMR voice drama, voiced by Inori Minase; availability of this digital service is not confirmed for current copies.
