Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Anime

The curtain rises on a close-contact youthful romantic comedy that cannot be measured in more ways than one. Based on Asato Mizu's manga serialized in Shonen Jump+, this is a youthful comedy about the small, quiet Reina Aharen and Raidou, the boy who sits next to her, whose relationship is impossible to measure in all sorts of ways.

Reina Aharen is a small, quiet girl who is not very good at judging the distance between herself and other people. Raidou, who sits in the neighboring seat, feels there is a distance between them. One day, he picks up an eraser that Aharen has dropped, and that incident suddenly brings them much closer.

Sometimes too far away and sometimes too close, Aharen is unpredictable. The curtain rises on a close-contact youthful romantic comedy that cannot be measured in more ways than one.

Volume 1 contains episodes one through four, approximately 98 minutes, with approximately three minutes of video extras: the creditless special ending for episode three and a teaser promotional video. The jacket features a new illustration by character designer and chief animation director Hiroko Yahiro. A special booklet was announced at sixteen pages. The edition was also supplied with a QR code for approximately ten minutes of Reina Aharen ASMR voice drama, performed by Inori Minase; access to this digital extra depends on the code and service remaining available.

The cast features Inori Minase as Reina Aharen, Takuma Terashima as Raidou, M.A.O as Mitsuki Oshiro, Tetsuya Kakihara as Ishikawa, Tomori Kusunoki as Hanako Sato, Kana Hanazawa as Ms. Tobaru, Rika Nagae as Raidou's younger sister, Yurie Kozakai as Ms. Miyahira, Maria Sashide as Futaba and Natsumi Fujiwara as Atsushi. Product specifications are subject to change.
