Akiba Maid War Anime

On cuteness and violence: Cygames and P.A.WORKS team up for an original television anime about the working struggles of the Tontokoton maid cafe in Akihabara in 1999.

In spring 1999, a girl arrives in Akihabara, dreaming of becoming a cute maid. At the end of the century, Akiba is overflowing with maids of every kind. Tontokoton, nicknamed the Pigsty, is open for another day of oinking service! A fellow new recruit is wildly unconventional, sending everyone into a frantic uproar. Favourite maids, trainers and life forms from beyond Akiba join the chaos, and the red bat swings at full force. This wholehearted account of a maid's working life is dedicated to every master and mistress. We await your return, oink!

Volume one contains episodes one through four. Video bonuses comprise the creditless opening used in episodes one through three, the creditless opening used in episodes four through twelve, the creditless ending, web previews for episodes one through four and a collection of promotional videos.

The set includes a drama CD, episode 4.44: The Wonderful Pigsty, Outside the Grounds, a special booklet, and a slipcase and inner jacket newly illustrated by character designer Manabu Nii.

The voice cast features Reina Kondo as Nagomi Wahira, Rina Sato as Ranko Mannen, Minami Tanaka as Yumechi, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Shiipon, Jenya as Zoya and Ayahi Takagaki as the manager. Product specifications are subject to change.
