BLEACH Anime

Mayuri Kurotsuchi is developing a device in a laboratory in the Seireitei. Without warning, a mysterious shadow appears and brings down something like a giant scythe. In the next instant, Mayuri goes berserk and begins striking the control panel as though he has lost himself.

Masses of spirit particles pour out and eventually engulf the Seireitei. Rukia Kuchiki, watching from far away, is also confronted by the shadow that appeared in the laboratory. It swings its scythe again, takes something from within her and carries her away.

Sensing that something is wrong in the world of the living, Ichigo Kurosaki travels to the Soul Society with the modified soul Kon. In the devastated Seireitei, he must face Soul Reapers of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads who have lost their memories. Can Ichigo win this lonely battle?

Returning to the series' roots, this third theatrical film centers on Rukia.

Masakazu Morita voices Ichigo Kurosaki, Fumiko Orikasa voices Rukia Kuchiki, Mitsuaki Madono voices Kon, Aya Hirano voices the sister and Hiroshi Kamiya voices the brother. This standard Blu-ray contains the 94-minute film with Japanese Linear PCM audio.
