BLEACH Anime

The Tenth Division of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, led by Toshiro Hitsugaya, is suddenly attacked by a mysterious group while escorting the King's Seal, a precious treasure of the Soul Society. Hitsugaya crosses blades with the group's leader, but the seal is stolen. For reasons unknown, he leaves his subordinates behind and disappears from his division.

In the world of the living, Ichigo Kurosaki and Uryu Ishida hear that Hitsugaya has fled. Soon afterward, they happen to find him wounded. They treat his injuries at the Kurosaki home, but Hitsugaya turns his sword on Ichigo and disappears again before his wounds have healed.

Ichigo joins Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai, who have secretly come from the Soul Society to search for Hitsugaya. Together, they pursue the mystery with only the word Kusaka, which Hitsugaya left behind, as their clue.

Execute Toshiro Hitsugaya! This striking tagline drew attention to the second theatrical BLEACH anime, whose story centers on one of the series' most popular characters. Originally released in theaters in 2007 and on DVD in 2008, the film is presented here on Blu-ray.

Masakazu Morita voices Ichigo Kurosaki, Romi Park voices Toshiro Hitsugaya, Fumiko Orikasa voices Rukia Kuchiki and Akira Ishida voices Sojiro Kusaka. The ninety-two-minute feature is supplied on one Blu-ray.
