Chisato Moritaka Concerts

As the final project celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of her debut, Chisato Moritaka performed The Singles LIVE Day 1 & Day 2 on May 27 and 28, 2018, at Hitomi Memorial Hall, Showa Women's University. This release captures those extraordinary two days in full. It is her first newly recorded live video release since she resumed performing live in 2013.

Beginning with her debut single NEW SEASON, the unprecedented concerts featured passionate performances of all forty-five of her singles in release order. Every song from both days is included, along with each day's encore, for a complete record of forty-seven concert songs. The performances also recreated The Singles, the definitive collection of all forty-five singles released in 2012 to mark her twenty-fifth anniversary.

The spectacular stage was built around the artwork from every single, with the corresponding cover art and music videos changing behind her from song to song. Moritaka sang in present-day outfits while keeping the original era of each song in mind. Her onstage commentary explaining every single is packed with behind-the-scenes stories and offers plenty to listen to.

Rare bonus footage includes the second-encore medley from The Moritaka+ concert held at the same hall on May 18, 2018, and a live highlights programme covering all forty-five singles.
