Date A Live Anime

Now, let us begin our war, our date. The spin-off of the hugely popular Date A Live light novels becomes a new anime!

Over six million copies worldwide across the series! Date A Live, serialised in Dragon Magazine and published by Fantasia Bunko, has surpassed six million copies worldwide and received three television anime adaptations and a theatrical film. Kurumi Tokisaki, a uniquely distinctive presence within the series, now stars in an animated spin-off. This release contains both Date A Bullet: Dead or Bullet, screened at nationwide Japanese theatrical events from August 2020, and Date A Bullet: Nightmare or Queen, screened from November 2020.

The standard edition includes a special outer case newly illustrated by original illustrator NOCO, a digipak newly illustrated by character designer Naoto Nakamura, a settings collection incorporating Yuichiro Higashide's newly written novella originally distributed to theatrical-event audiences, and storyboards. Video extras include textless opening and ending sequences and promotional videos and commercials. The original Fantasia Re:Build bonus serial code expired September 30, 2021 at 23:59 and is no longer usable. The retailer's A 2 transparent poster offer has ended and is not included.

Story: The Neighboring World was once said to house spirits powerful enough to be called disasters. The spirits have already vanished, however, and it has become a battlefield for girls known as quasi-spirits. In one region of this world, the Tenth Region, Malkuth, the spirit Kurumi Tokisaki awakens. Why is she here? How did she arrive? And above all, what is this place? Lost in a world beyond her knowledge, Kurumi hears a voice: Enjoy the rest of your life without reservation. Only one will survive. Please kill one another to your hearts' content. A battle royale suddenly begins; countless weapons cross and blood sprays through the air. The trigger of the war, the date, surrounding Kurumi has abruptly been pulled.
