Hell's Paradise Animation

The ninja adventure Hell's Paradise comes to Blu-ray! The television anime began broadcasting on the TV Tokyo network on April 1, 2023, bringing its story of condemned criminals and a mysterious island to the screen.

The story is set in the closing years of the Edo period. Gabimaru, once the strongest ninja of Iwagakure, has been captured as a deserter and condemned to death. He is told that he can earn a pardon if he brings back the elixir of immortality from an island rumoured to be a paradise.

Determined to reunite with his beloved wife, Gabimaru sets out for the island where the elixir is said to exist, accompanied by his executioner, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri. Once they land, other condemned criminals seeking the same elixir stand in their way. Unknown creatures lurk on the island, alongside unsettling artificial stone statues and the immortals who rule it. On this island filled with mysteries, can Gabimaru find the elixir and return alive?

Bonus footage includes promotional videos, the opening and ending sequences without credits, and the special ending from episode eight without credits. The visual commentary for episode eight re-edits the watch-party footage originally streamed on YouTube and adds further conversation recorded for the home-video release. Audio commentary for the final episode is also included.
