Hell's Paradise Animation

The ninja adventure Hell's Paradise comes to Blu-ray! The television anime began broadcasting on the TV Tokyo network on April 1, 2023, bringing its story of condemned criminals and a mysterious island to the screen.

The story is set in the closing years of the Edo period. Gabimaru, once the strongest ninja of Iwagakure, has been captured as a deserter and condemned to death. He is told that he can earn a pardon if he brings back the elixir of immortality from an island rumoured to be a paradise.

Determined to reunite with his beloved wife, Gabimaru sets out for the island where the elixir is said to exist, accompanied by his executioner, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri. Once they land, other condemned criminals seeking the same elixir stand in their way. Unknown creatures lurk on the island, alongside unsettling artificial stone statues and the immortals who rule it. On this island filled with mysteries, can Gabimaru find the elixir and return alive?

The original drama The Feelings Behind Words asks what words can convey. One night on Shinsenkyo, Gabimaru and Sagiri talk alone about words, memories of his beloved wife and a love letter he once received. Their conversation reveals feelings and hidden episodes from the past.

The original drama The Feelings of Two Trees explores the depth of a younger brother's devotion. Alone together on Shinsenkyo, Chobei and Toma spend a night in which Toma's dedication to his brother overflows. Preparing a bed and a meal, he displays his remarkable talents in the ultimate act of hospitality. This previously untold story reveals another side of the brothers.

The release also includes footage of the cast's talk at the advance screening and audio commentary for the first and fourth episodes.
