Inuyasha Animation

The InuYasha television anime originally broadcast from 2000 to 2004 comes to Blu-ray box format for the first time. Box II, “Growth”, collects the next part of the adventure.

Kagome Higurashi, the daughter of a shrine family, slips through an old, dried-up well in the shrine grounds and travels back to the Warring States era. Her fateful meeting with the half-demon InuYasha draws her into battles and conspiracies surrounding the Shikon Jewel, said to grant any wish. Together, they can fight. Together, they can protect.

The collection presents episodes forty-five through eighty-seven in an enhanced presentation, with a separate disc preserving those same episodes as originally broadcast. Clean versions of “Owarinai Yume” by Nanase Aikawa, “Dearest” by Ayumi Hamasaki and “Every Heart ~Minna no Kimochi~” by BoA are also included.

The accompanying CD adapts Inuyasha Original Soundtrack Volume 2, first released on April 3, 2002. Its contents are broadly the same as that album, except that the television-size versions of “I am” and “Fukai Mori” are omitted. Newly illustrated box packaging and a special booklet are available only with remaining first-production copies and are not guaranteed.
