Inuyasha Animation

Together, they can fight. Together, they can protect. Shrine maiden Kagome Higurashi slips through an old, dried-up well in her shrine’s grounds and travels back to the Sengoku period. Her fateful encounter with the half-demon InuYasha draws her into battles and conspiracies surrounding the Shikon Jewel, said to grant any wish.

The television anime broadcast from 2000 to 2004 receives its first Blu-ray box release. This Band of Seven collection contains episodes 88–127: four Blu-rays present the episodes with an enhanced picture, while a fifth provides the same episodes in their original broadcast presentation. The precise presentation differences are listed in the disc programme.

The fourth disc also includes the creditless opening “Grip!” by Every Little Thing and the creditless endings “Shinjitsu no Uta” by Do As Infinity and “Itazura na Kiss” by day after tomorrow. The accompanying CD adapts Inuyasha Original Soundtrack Volume 3, originally released on October 29, 2003. It excludes the TV-size versions of “Sotsugyo: Sayonara wa Ashita no Tame ni, One Version”, “Owarinai Yume”, “Dearest”, “Every Heart: Minna no Kimochi” and “Shinjitsu no Uta”. First-production copies may include a newly illustrated three-sided box and a special booklet, while supplies last.
