The series serialized in Ultra Jump comes to the screen. A boy, a girl and tsukumogami live beneath one roof in a story of bonds and love.

Objects that have aged eventually acquire a heart and become tsukumogami. The Saenome receive power from the guardian deity to speak with these spirits and return them to the eternal realm. Hyoma Kunato, the future head of the Kunato family, one of the three great Saenome families, hates tsukumogami because they took people dear to him. In Kyoto, the thousand-year-old capital, Botan Nagatsuki, head of the Nagatsuki household, lives with six tsukumogami whom she loves as family.

Trapped by his past, Hyoma keeps sealing tsukumogami by force. His grandfather Zouhei teaches him to listen to their voices and guide them. To help him reassess them, his grandfather requires him to stay with the Nagatsuki family as a lodger. Hyoma and Botan have entirely opposing feelings about tsukumogami. They meet and begin living under one roof. Humans and tsukumogami weave their connections in this tale.

The Blu-ray contains episodes one through six. Takeo Otsuka voices Hyoma Kunato, Yuki Takada voices Botan Nagatsuki, Miyuki Sawashiro voices Haori, Chikahiro Kobayashi voices Nagi, Reina Ueda voices Yu, Yoshiki Nakajima voices Suzuri and Aimi Tanaka voices Kagami. The source keeps Kushige's voice actor undisclosed.
