Middle-Aged Man Loves Cute Things Regular Edition Blu-ray Box

The contrast is irresistible: a handsome, distinguished middle-aged man lives with Pug Taro. Hidekazu Mashima gives a delightfully comic performance as a man who adores cute things, joined by Tsubasa Imai, Ren Kiriyama and Taiyu Fujiwara.

Mitsuki Oji, forty-three, is refined, gentlemanly and good-looking. His superiors and subordinates trust him, and he excels at work: the ideal attractive middle-aged man. Yet Oji has a secret he cannot tell anyone. He loves cute things far too much.

Living with a plush toy of his favorite character, Pug Taro, he is happiest when they spend time together. He guards his affection for cute things as though it were a fatal secret, while rigorously striving each day to remain a distinguished man worthy of calling himself a Pug Taro fan.

At forty-three, he meets a kindred spirit for the first time, Kenta. Along with Naruto, the rival from the neighboring department who constantly challenges him, and his university-student nephew Masumi, who is staying with him, he gradually acknowledges their respective secrets and closes the emotional distance between them.

The regular-edition box contains all five episodes, running two hundred and fifteen minutes, and fifty-eight minutes of bonus footage. Extras include the original making-of program, four teaser promotional videos, two publicity programs and two PAPAPA Pug Taro videos. Promotional material also features cast introductions, one-minute previews and highlights. A lavish sixty-four-page official visual book is enclosed.

The cast includes Hidekazu Mashima, Tsubasa Imai, Ren Kiriyama, Taiyu Fujiwara, Mirai Yamamoto, Miu Tomita, Ayu Manaka, Ron Mizuma and Masakazu Sato, with narration by Nana Mori. Product specifications are subject to change.
