My Happy Marriage Animation

Turmoil approaches, and love must stand firm. The television anime that established the popularity of My Happy Marriage returns for its second season, which began airing in January 2025. Based on the novel series published since 2019, the story has become beloved through a manga adaptation that topped numerous rankings, a live-action film that earned more than 2.8 billion yen at the box office, and a stage adaptation praised for its original story. By November 2024, the series had exceeded nine million copies across print and digital editions.

The first season, which aired in July 2023, captivated audiences with richly coloured imagery, dramatic music and compelling performances, winning acclaim in Japan and overseas. The second season brings even more beautiful visual expression to its intricate relationships and increasingly intense battles between supernatural abilities. New characters lead the story toward its climax, including the formidable Naoshi Usui.

Having grown up abused by her stepmother and others, Miyo lacked confidence in herself. Yet her pure heart moved Kiyoka, an aloof elite soldier, and she began to face the parts of herself she had long avoided. Their journey made the first season deeply moving. Now the struggle surrounding the Usuba blood running through Miyo enters a new phase and puts their love to the test. Can they protect the happiness they have finally grasped?

Behind-the-scenes footage accompanies the story. First-production copies include an original short novel, newly illustrated outer case, illustrated digipak and special booklet with new artwork. These limited inclusions depend on the copy supplied and are not guaranteed.
