My Hero Academia: You're Next Standard Edition Blu-ray continues the struggle over what it means to be a symbol of peace. After All Might's final confrontation with All For One, his legacy passes to Izuku Midoriya and the young heroes at U.A. High School. The destructive battle between heroes and villains leaves Japan scarred, while the next confrontation with Tomura Shigaraki draws nearer.

Into this damaged world steps Dark Might, a man who resembles All Might but has a radically different vision. Declaring himself the new symbol who will replace the former hero, he uses his Quirk to create a vast fortress and absorb people into it. Beside him stands a young woman named Anna, while Giulio, a man who addresses her as his mistress, is nevertheless pursuing her life. Their connection to Dark Might becomes part of the mystery facing the students.

Izuku, Bakugo, Todoroki and their Class 1-A companions take on Dark Might and the criminal Gollini Family he leads. The fourth theatrical My Hero Academia story is directed by Tensai Okamura, written by Yosuke Kuroda and animated by Bones, under Kohei Horikoshi's original-story supervision. Daiki Yamashita, Nobuhiko Okamoto and Yuki Kaji return, with Mamoru Miyano, Meru Nukumi and Kenta Miyake among the featured voices. Vaundy performs the opening song Homunculus and ending song Gift.

The standard edition includes the 110-minute feature, a collection of teasers, trailers and promotional videos including WHO'S NEXT and Gift, and the creditless opening. These are included on the feature disc; this edition does not contain the separate Plus Ultra supplement disc.

The region-free Blu-ray offers Japanese Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and Linear PCM 2.0 stereo tracks. A separate Japanese audio-description track uses DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo, and Japanese subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers are included.
