Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Volume 2 Blu-ray
TV キミと僕の最後の戦場、あるいは世界が始まる聖戦 第2巻
The strongest swordsman and the strongest witch are mortal enemies, yet they are drawn to one another on the battlefield. Fantasia Bunko's heroic fantasy for a new generation becomes a television anime.
The Empire is a mechanical utopia with highly advanced science and technology. The Nebulis Sovereignty uses supernatural powers and is feared as the land of witches. The two nations have been at war for a hundred years, and each has a hero. Iska is the youngest warrior to reach the Empire's highest level of military strength. Aliceliese is a princess of the Sovereignty, known as the Ice Calamity Witch.
Meeting on the battlefield, they become enemies who stake their lives on their battles. To protect their countries, families and companions, they clash over convictions that neither can surrender. Yet amid their intense fighting, each discovers the other's true self and becomes drawn to the other's way of life and ideals. They know they cannot walk together, and that a cruel fate will toy with them.
As though mocking the two, tensions continue to rise across the world, while the plots of powerful nations converge. In a divided world, the young man and woman nevertheless find their feelings growing.
Volume two contains episodes five through eight. Recorded extras include previews for those episodes, a creditless ending and character promotional videos for Mismis, Nene and Jhin. The original first pressing included the short novel Kinsho Majin, an outer case, an illustrated digipack and a booklet; these items are subject to first-press copy availability.
The cast features Yusuke Kobayashi as Iska, Sora Amamiya as Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX, Kaori Ishihara as Nene Alkastone, Nao Shiraki as Mismis Klass, Shunichi Toki as Jhin Syulargun, Ayana Taketatsu as Risya In Empire, Yumiri Hanamori as Rin Vispose, Azumi Waki as Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX, Aya Hisakawa as Mirabea Lou Nebulis VIII and Jun Kasama as Nameless.
