A new adventure for the VR era

Developed around the concept of a new adventure game for the VR era, Last Labyrinth is a VR escape adventure that lets you experience a world made possible by virtual reality and communicate with a virtual character.

Trapped in a mysterious mansion, you join forces with a mysterious girl named Katia, solving many puzzles as you attempt to escape.

You are restrained in a wheelchair and cannot speak. Katia speaks a mysterious language, so neither of you can understand the other's words.

Through nonverbal communication, Katia acts on your behalf. Sharing many different experiences allows you to empathise with her more deeply and experience communication with a virtual character.

An immersive VR experience

Director Hiromichi Takahashi, who worked on the Doko Demo Issyo series, and veteran staff who have worked on other renowned PlayStation titles draw on their experience to develop this game.

The mysterious mansion's scenery and its many mechanisms are depicted with solidity and intricate detail. The characters feel as though they truly exist.

An experience that stirs your emotions

If you make a wrong decision while solving a puzzle, Katia meets a terrible fate, and you then suffer the same awful situation. The shocking conclusion makes you experience guilt and a sense of unity with Katia.

If you solve the puzzle successfully, you will notice your own relief that Katia is safe.

Approachable for a first VR experience

Because your character is restrained in a wheelchair, you can play while sitting in a chair.

There are only two controls: pressing the switch in your hand and moving your head. These allow intuitive operation.

The publisher describes the game as causing very little VR motion sickness. There are no direct depictions of gore, allowing even people who find horror difficult to enjoy it.

Cast and music

The mysterious girl Katia is voiced by Stefanie Joosten, who portrayed the beautiful, wordless sniper Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and works internationally as a model, actress and singer.

The theme song is composed by Hiroki Kikuta, who has created music for many games, including Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3 and Sōkaigi.

Stefanie Joosten, the voice of Katia, also performs the theme song's vocals.
