A prison escape where devotion and madness intersect

Compile Heart, Dengeki Bunko and Dengeki PlayStation present a prison escape drama about girls caught at the intersection of intense devotion and madness.

Jail is an impregnable human detention facility known as a living prison.

It appeared suddenly several decades ago, and was governed by monsters called Marchens and the mad beings called Nightmares that command them.

To escape Jail, Tsuu and Little Mermaid, members of the organisation Dawn, successfully rescue their captured new companion Alice and the boy Jack, who was with her.

As they head towards town with the two rescued companions, Alice suddenly succumbs to madness and begins swinging her blade indiscriminately.

Alice's blade attacks Tsuu, along with Jack and Little Mermaid as they try to protect her. The three fall from a cliff.

When Tsuu and Little Mermaid awaken below the cliff, they find Jack on the verge of losing his life.

Tsuu, Little Mermaid and Jack: this is the story of girls weaving together their hearts and blood, and a boy who has become a Nightmare, as they attempt to escape their fate.
