A masterpiece returns across generations

Set amid beautiful natural surroundings, this grand story unfolds through encounters with people and animals. Ōkami, acclaimed around the world, returns with every aspect of its graphics refined in high definition and high resolution.

What is Ōkami?

Restore the beauty of nature: that is the goal of the divine protagonist, Amaterasu. Meet people and fulfil their wishes, interact with animals living resiliently in the natural world, and defeat the monsters laying waste to the land. After Amaterasu races across the earth, beautiful, peaceful nature remains as the trace of that journey.

An original, warm world inspired by Japanese culture and a great adventure unfolding amid beautiful scenery: this is the nature-adventure game Ōkami.

Refined high-definition graphics

Characters, backgrounds, effects and other graphics have been refined with greater detail and higher resolution. The distinctive character designs, which look as though they were painted with a brush, become even more beautiful and vividly coloured. PlayStation 4 Pro is also supported, enabling a 4K playing experience.

Original-version features restored

The experience of the original PlayStation 2 version is reproduced as closely as possible. Options let you switch the screen ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 and turn the loading-screen mini-games on or off. Players who experienced the original may find old memories returning when they play in an environment closer to that first experience.

Characters

Amaterasu is the protagonist. Wounded in the battle to seal Orochi a hundred years ago, the deity lost a physical form but returns to the world by inhabiting the statue of Kamiki Village's guardian god.

Issun is a tiny fairy-like wandering artist who travels throughout the country. Princess Sakuya, the tree spirit, dwells in the sacred Konohana tree and watches over Kamiki Village.

Original Sachi Tsutsumi physical contents

This edition originally combined the first-production packaged game, with its reversible cover, an original-design furoshiki wrapping cloth and two special B2 posters. These items let you further enjoy Ōkami's Japanese-inspired world.

The furoshiki can freely wrap treasured possessions and gifts or serve as a hand-carried bag. It measures 680 × 680 mm, is made from cotton and uses two colours.

The two posters feature newly drawn package art created for this release by Ōkami character designer Kenichiro Yoshimura, also used on the reversible first-production game cover, and overseas poster art drawn when the original PlayStation 2 game was released. Amaterasu, the characters and the Brush Gods are depicted with a Japanese aesthetic. Each B2 poster is folded into eight sections to a B5 finished size.

The original photographs are illustrative, and contents or specifications could change. This is a Used item; the presence and condition of original physical extras depend on the individual copy.
