The King of Fighters SNK

The ultimate evolution of KOF '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition

KOF '98, a dream match widely praised as one of the greatest entries in the series, was further refined into KOF '98 Ultimate Match. The arcade-standard The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition then underwent thorough balancing as the ultimate competitive fighting game.

Win the ultimate battle and aim for the top!

A thoroughly tuned KOF '98 arrives on PlayStation 4

The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match Final Edition fully tunes up KOF '98, which continues to enjoy great popularity within the KOF series. It arrives on PlayStation 4 with substantially enhanced online features.

Ultimate game balance

The arcade-standard KOF '98 Ultimate Match has been tuned to its limits. Game balance has been readjusted and every character's moves reviewed, creating a competitive fighting game worthy of the Final Edition name.

Comfortable online battles

Online matches use rollback netcode. Online features have been substantially improved with lobbies accommodating up to nine people, a spectator mode, battle replays and settings for matchmaking conditions. Enjoy comfortable online competition!

A roster of sixty-four fighters

Alongside the characters of KOF '98, popular fighters such as Eiji Kisaragi, Kasumi Todoh, Geese Howard, Mr. Big and Wolfgang Krauser join the roster.

Alternate versions and boss characters are also playable. Master the ultimate battle featuring sixty-four fighters and aim for the top!

The new Ultimate Mode system

Built on KOF '98, Ultimate Match introduces its distinctive Ultimate Mode system and game-balance adjustments.

A variety of additional game modes includes Challenge Mode and Practice Mode.
