Yakuza SEGA

This is the pinnacle of Yakuza

Here is the answer to ten years of Yakuza continually pushing the limits of games. This tenth-anniversary release follows a series with more than 7.5 million copies shipped. Built on the first Yakuza, acclaimed most highly for its story, it greatly expands the dramatic scenes and perfects every aspect of entertainment for adults: comfortable gameplay, beautiful visuals, substantial sound, and a wealth of places to play and substories. Enjoy the culmination of a series that has taken on new challenges and evolved dramatically with every release.

Gripping drama brought to life anew

The weighty human drama of the original remains intact. Development based on PlayStation 4 adds visual beauty and comfortable gameplay, introducing systems and battle styles praised in previous series entries in a thorough pursuit of accessibility.

Voices for approximately 90 percent of the characters—including protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, his rival Akira Nishikiyama and heroine Haruka—were recorded anew. Wholehearted performances from returning actors and a new cast bring the dramatic scenes to life again.

Stories the original did not reveal

Numerous new episodes focus on Nishikiyama's transformation during the ten missing years while Kiryu was in prison, along with the beginning of Kiryu's fateful connection with Goro Majima. Even players who experienced the original Yakuza will find new stories to enjoy.

Majima Everywhere and MesuKing: Battle Bug Beauties

Substories have been extensively refreshed, including new additions, from bizarre incidents to moving tales. Features include Majima Everywhere and the insect-queen battle game MesuKing.

Music by Koshi Inaba

Koshi Inaba, a member of the musical duo B'z and one of Japan's leading vocalists, contributes two songs: the newly written BLEED and Receive You [Reborn], his reimagining of the first game's main theme Receive You. This collaboration with a renowned artist adds a more dynamic color to the drama.

General director: Toshihiro Nagoshi.
