Rumble Garanndoll Vol.2 Blu-ray

Take back our world!

In 2019, Japan is about to enter a new imperial era when a rift to another dimension suddenly appears in the sky. Beyond it lies Shinkoku Nippon, an alternate world turned upside down. This parallel world has preserved its militarism and continued an eternal Showa era. Using the gas weapon Genmu, which neutralizes modern weaponry, and the giant humanoid weapons Garan, it invades our Japan. The government is seized in an instant, and the country is effectively conquered. The age of Reiwa never comes.

Ten years later, Japan has been reborn as Genkoku, a subordinate state of Shinkoku. Under strict censorship, the once-flourishing subcultures of manga, anime and idols seem to have died out completely. But otaku is not dead! A group stands up to Shinkoku to protect that culture: the secret society Arahabaki. Its principal weapons are the Garanndolls, powered by girls who fight alongside them. These girls are known as Battery Girls.

This volume contains episodes five through eight and a promotional-video collection. The original first pressing included a special box, a digipak newly illustrated by character designer Keiko Kurosawa and a sixty-four-page special booklet; those physical extras depend on first-press copy availability.
