Rumble Garanndoll Animation

Take back our world! An original anime project turns the world upside down, vividly depicting girls who resist its rule and the magnificent machines they fight with.

Japan, 2019, on the eve of a new imperial era. A rift into another dimension suddenly appears in the sky. Beyond it lies Shinkoku Nippon, a parallel Japan where the world is inverted, militarism has endured and the Showa era continues forever.

Using Genmu gas weapons that neutralise modern armaments and enormous humanoid weapons called Garan, the invaders attack our Japan. They seize the government almost instantly and effectively conquer the country. The Reiwa era never arrives.

Ten years later, Japan has been reborn as Genkoku, a vassal state of Shinkoku. Under severe censorship, the once flourishing cultures of manga, anime and idols seem to have disappeared completely.

But otaku is not dead! A group openly resists Shinkoku to protect that culture: the secret society Arahabaki. Its main weapons are Garanndolls, powered by the girls who fight alongside them. People call those girls Battery Girls.

The original first-production edition was announced with a special box, an illustrated digipak and a special booklet. These limited extras are subject to availability and are not guaranteed with the current copy.

Textless opening and ending sequences are included as video extras.
